About the role
- Strategic and operational management of international DIY customers, with a focus on Germany and Austria
- Act as the central point of contact for customers, shaping long-term partnerships and identifying new business opportunities
- Maintain existing customer relationships and drive their strategic development
- Identify and realize potential for new business relationships
- Develop tailored proposals and innovative marketing concepts
- Manage projects with a high degree of personal responsibility and creativity
- Plan and conduct commercial terms negotiations and annual review meetings
- Manage, optimize and develop the product assortment
- Monitor the market and analyze competitor activities
- Develop growth strategies in collaboration with internal teams
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Key Account Manager in the DIY sector
- Proven track record in building and developing customer relationships
- Strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking and a strong customer orientation
- Completed degree or vocational qualification in business administration (or a related field)
- Solid IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
- Experience with additional data analysis tools
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
- High self-motivation, numerical affinity and good understanding of processes
- Fluent German and English, including negotiation-level proficiency
