About the role

  • Strategic and operational management of international DIY customers, with a focus on Germany and Austria
  • Act as the central point of contact for customers, shaping long-term partnerships and identifying new business opportunities
  • Maintain existing customer relationships and drive their strategic development
  • Identify and realize potential for new business relationships
  • Develop tailored proposals and innovative marketing concepts
  • Manage projects with a high degree of personal responsibility and creativity
  • Plan and conduct commercial terms negotiations and annual review meetings
  • Manage, optimize and develop the product assortment
  • Monitor the market and analyze competitor activities
  • Develop growth strategies in collaboration with internal teams

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Key Account Manager in the DIY sector
  • Proven track record in building and developing customer relationships
  • Strong negotiation skills, strategic thinking and a strong customer orientation
  • Completed degree or vocational qualification in business administration (or a related field)
  • Solid IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with additional data analysis tools
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team
  • High self-motivation, numerical affinity and good understanding of processes
  • Fluent German and English, including negotiation-level proficiency
