Design, develop, and deploy Workday Extend applications for Workday customers
Build applications to run alongside Workday Human Resources, Financial Management, and Student Information Systems
Work directly with customers to craft and develop innovative solutions to business challenges
Lead discovery sessions with customer domain specialists across technical and product areas to assemble requirements and deliver accurate design documentation
Build and review technical designs that are consistent, maintainable, flexible and efficient
Explain complex concepts in simple terms and understand customer procedures
Collaborate within Global Technical Services to implement Extend applications across industries and geographies
Requirements
2+ years of experience with Workday Extend development
4+ years of experience with data migration, integration development, report building, or software development
4+ years of experience with technical consulting, requirements gathering, or solution design
4+ years of Human Resource, Payroll, Financials, Supply Chain, or Student domain experience
Extensive knowledge of web service technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML)
Knowledge of authentication and authorization methods (OAuth, JWT, WS-Security, SAML, X.509, etc.)
Excellent Presentation Skills
Superb communication capability
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical teams
Problem solver with a passion for delivering outstanding levels of customer service
Ability to balance multiple projects with customer commitments simultaneously
Experience implementing Platform-as-a-Service and/or custom web applications
Ideally experience implementing Workday solutions using Human Capital Management, Financial Management or Student Information Systems
Experience taking a leadership role within a software, system, or application implementation
Advanced understanding of the complete software implementation lifecycle (collecting requirements, design, development, testing, move to production)
