About the role

  • Assist in management all aspects of the operations to ensure financial goals, budget, and related strategies established by Willdan are met.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective and profitable regional operations.
  • Responsible for forecasting revenue and costs.
  • Responsible for managing revenue and costs.
  • Coordinate with Willdan Data, Engineering, Accounting, Safety teams and other teams to effectively manage the operations.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for various audiences, both recurring and ad-hoc.
  • Present operations performance data monthly.
  • Develop, document, and monitor processes regarding sales and contraction operational activities.
  • Develop, document, and implement QC processes to ensure quality work.
  • Lead and coordinate multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4 or more years of related experience, such as energy efficiency and/or project management.
  • Energy Manager in Training (EMIT) or Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification from Association of Energy Engineers, a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage project from inception to close while maintaining strong customer practices and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with our clients and customers and work collaboratively with our engineering staff, program managers, and sales team.
  • Strong knowledge or background in Electrification and Weatherization construction.
  • Knowledge of software tools, such as spreadsheets, project management programs, word processing, presentation and workflow programs, and program tracking tools and techniques.
  • Knowledge of building science, including load calculations, a plus.
  • Responsible for ensuring work performed by office personnel, field staff, and subcontractors is effectively scheduled and coordinated.
  • Strategizing and managing productivity, process, and quality of both office and field operations.
  • Running reports and tracking progress towards contract milestones in WLE project tracking system.
  • Striving for continuous improvement by recommending and implementing adjustments to enhance overall operation.
  • Recommend, develop, and implement procedures and policies.
  • Actively coordinate sales, audit and office staff to ensure overall team effectiveness to meet goals.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Experience in accounting, invoicing, forecasting and accounts payable.
