About the role
- Work with territory managers and fill your weekly schedule as required.
- Visit dealerships to capture vehicle information & photos, in a timely manner.
- Build, maintain and foster customer relationships to secure customer loyalty and increase volume of vehicle inspections.
- Assume direct responsibility for dealer consignment inspections meeting specified targets and parameters.
- Perform all vehicle inspections in your geographic location with a major attention to detail in order to provide a high quality of information to buying customers and minimize errors, cancelled sales and arbitration.
- Provide customer training as required for customers.
- Keep up to date with information about product and service innovations, changing needs of customers, market conditions and competitors and provide feedback for business strategy accordingly.
- Travel to conduct vehicle inspections at a variety of locations including dealerships, physical auctions, off site locations and consumer residences.
- Provide feedback and daily log to your manager and team.
- Approach New Dealers with our global remarketing solution.
- Establishing rapport, demonstrating our solution, and closing the deal.
- Onboarding users and supporting their performance to ensure successful results.
- Providing guidance and best practices on platform functionality and operation.
- Supporting dealer requirements, handling any questions/concerns and providing outstanding solutions at every opportunity.
- Establishing and maintaining long-term client relationships to drive the company’s leadership position in a competitive marketplace.
- Complete additional tasks/duties assigned by Management.
Requirements
- Must have an automotive vehicle and a clean drivers´ abstract.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive manual or automatic.
- Automotive knowledge, preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the automotive field (body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge) with customer service background.
- Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches.
- Proven success to work independently with minimal supervision while working in a team environment.
- Good manual dexterity to work around vehicles and with mobile devices.
- Vision abilities required include close, distance, colour and depth perception.
- Excellent reading / writing skills as well as the ability to make sound decisions and exercise common sense and critical thinking skills.
- Must be willing to work in various weather conditions and be a team player.
- Able to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
- Ability to bend, squat, stoop, or kneel, stand for a prolonged period with the ability to lift.
- Flexible availability including weekends (primarily Saturdays) and ability to be available between the hours of 8am and 6pm with occasional evenings as required by the needs of the business.
- Reliability, punctuality and dependability are essential.
- Possibility of carrying out duties outside of designated region based on capture request.
- Incredible Customer Service skills with the ability to understand and exceed customer needs and expectations.
- Communication (verbal and written) and relationship building skills.
