Establish, implement and lead strategic directions for delivering services using Hoshin Kanri methodology
Work with senior customer leadership across the region, understanding needs, plant performance trends, customer satisfaction and Westinghouse performance
Manage interactions within Westinghouse, subcontractors and key stakeholders in the Americas, to accomplish delivery of services
Maximize efficiency through promoting the Outage & Maintenance Service Lean operating system to ensure our order of priorities is maintained
Safety, Quality Delivery, Cost – in that order
Manage business operations to meet or exceed key business measures as defined by Hoshin Kanri and Key Performance Indicators
Monitor the details and status of projects, guide regular governance meetings, communication, and updates to executive management
Identify and overcome barriers to completing project on time and to budget
Develop a working knowledge of the unique aspects of implementing services at a nuclear power plant
Monitor GSS field project to ensure risks, escalation and remediation plans are effective as well as other adjustments that may enhance delivery aspects.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical-related field
Business-related Master's degree preferred
15+ years of progressive experience leading large outage organizations, specifically performing services on the Nuclear Steam Supply Systems and at Nuclear Power Plants
Increasing levels of demonstrated leadership including P&L ownership in the nuclear or industrial industry
10 years of experience building, maintaining and managing a unionized building trade workforce of all disciplines, and a large non-union workforce consisting of mechanical, non-mechanical and Radiation Protection staff
This staff could surge to over 6,000 people during peak periods
Intimate familiarity with P&L business operations, and an understanding of corporate financials and the actions required to operate a P&L
Embracer of Lean and the management systems and tools thereof
Deep understating S&OP processes for long term financial and resource planning
Have the ability and capability to travel to support business operations
Have and maintain the ability and capability to gain and maintain unescorted access to a Nuclear Power Plant located in the United States, Canada, Mexico as a condition of employment.
