About the role

  • Lead and manage a team of program and project managers, providing coaching, development, and consistent operational leadership.
  • Oversee planning, execution, delivery, and governance of large technology and business programs.
  • Develop and maintain portfolio‑level dashboards, reporting, and metrics to support executive decision‑making.
  • Drive annual and ongoing planning cycles, portfolio prioritization, and capacity alignment.
  • Support the development and evolution of PMO methodologies, standards, templates, and governance frameworks.
  • Provide clear, concise, executive‑ready communication on program health, risks, issues, dependencies, and achievements.
  • Facilitate cross‑functional alignment between product, engineering, operations, compliance, finance, and strategy teams.
  • Identify and mitigate program risks; proactively resolve issues impacting scope, timeline, or budget.
  • Champion continuous improvement, operational rigor, and data‑driven program management.
  • Ensure all programs adhere to enterprise delivery models (Agile, SAFe, hybrid, waterfall, etc.).
  • Contribute to roadmap planning, sequencing, and strategic portfolio design.
  • Promote a strong outcomes‑driven culture tied to enterprise priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in project/program management, portfolio management, or PMO leadership.
  • 5+ years of people management experience required.
  • Experience with Jira or other similar project management tools required.
  • PMP, PMI‑ACP, SAFe, or similar certifications preferred.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to interpret and adapt PMO standards to new or complex situations.
  • Proven ability to influence, motivate, and align cross‑functional teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, prioritization, and organizational development.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent facilitation and presentation abilities, with experience preparing executive‑level materials.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including evaluating program performance and recommending improvement actions.
  • Experience managing and developing high‑performing technology‑focused teams.
  • Knowledge of program financials, budgeting cycles, and portfolio cost management.
  • Familiarity with Agile and SAFe delivery frameworks.
