Serve as a consultant to management on human resources–related business issues and act as both an employee champion and change agent
Assess and anticipate human resources needs for assigned business units and proactively communicate those needs with Human Resources Team and leadership
Identify and develop integrated HR solutions supporting company objectives and specific needs of assigned business units
Build partnerships within Human Resources and deliver valued services to management and employees
Support business units in Edina, Minnesota, and Anchorage, Alaska; travel to Anchorage at least quarterly
Work in-office for the first 90 days, with opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule afterward
Provide workforce planning, organizational design, talent strategy, compliance, and employee relations guidance
Requirements
Three-plus years of experience working as a Human Resources Business Partner; five-plus years of experience for senior level position
Proven experience influencing and coaching senior leaders
Advanced knowledge of employment laws, compliance, and human resources best practices
Expertise in workforce planning, organizational design, and talent strategies
Strong ability to identify human resources risks and proactively develop mitigation strategies
Experience anticipating future talent needs and developing long-term talent strategies
Superior communication and emotional intelligence; remains calm and balanced in high-stress situations
Expert-level conflict management skills; proactively identifies solutions and uses influence effectively to achieve goals
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); moderate to expert-level Excel skills
Experience using HRIS systems—Workday preferred
Human resources certification (preferred)
Experience with compensation best practices: market pricing, job analysis, internal equity reviews, and incentive pay structure administration (preferred)
Proficiency in human resources analytics and leveraging data for decision-making (preferred)
Strong project management skills, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines (preferred)
