About the role

  • Lead strategy for Internet Reseller Authorization, MAP policies, and 3P platform seller governance—especially on Amazon.
  • Act as the internal and external thought leader for UAP policies; shape and evolve the 3P eCommerce strategy.
  • Lead ProDriven Brand Protection Committee, reporting status and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Manage UAP and Internet Reseller Programs; ensure policy alignment and enforcement across sellers; maintain price lists and holiday calendars.
  • External partner oversight: relationships with enforcement and compliance partners; optimize platforms for efficiency.
  • Oversee Amazon Brand Registry and 3P Seller actions; protect IP and brand assets; manage third-party sellers and storefronts.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Channel Marketing and Product Marketing; provide training on compliance policies and enforcement practices.
  • Collaborate with Legal on escalated enforcement actions and risk mitigation.
  • Hybrid status with minimum 3 days/week in-office in Itasca, IL.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics preferred or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • 8+ years of experience in brand protection, eCommerce compliance, channel or trade marketing, product marketing, category management, or data analytics.
  • Prior experience running a Brand Protection program at a manufactured goods company is preferred, e.g. consumer electronics, fashion/apparel brand, hand/power tools.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, mentor, and manage one direct report
  • Demonstrated results enforcing MAP policies and experience with internet and price monitoring & enforcement platforms.
  • Deep understanding of the Amazon Marketplace, online unauthorized seller dynamics, and digital IP enforcement.
  • Extremely strong attention to detail, disciplined organization skills, and ability to work with complex data sets.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
  • Prior experience working with or with legal counsel on IP protection and brand protection enforcement strategies.
  • Experience managing branded storefronts and optimizing content for eCommerce performance.
  • Proven ability to lead complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of industrial or safety product industries is a plus.
