Reports to the Corporate Controller and oversees the corporate accounting function.
Manage global accounting operations including consolidation and elimination processes and intercompany accounting.
Maintain and document internal controls across general accounting processes, including financial close, reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
Lead financial systems initiatives, process improvements, automation, and training programs for the accounting team.
Support internal and external audits and serve as primary contact for external auditors regarding accounting matters.
Manage accounting integration for acquisitions/divestitures, including intercompany transactions and legal entity changes.
Drive process improvements, promote best practices and lean standards across global accounting functions.
Collaborate with Corporate Tax to ensure accurate accounting for income taxes under ASC 740.
Manage quarterly revenue deferral processes for North America with business units and customer service teams.
Develop and deliver monthly reports and dashboards in collaboration with IT; present in finance meetings and training sessions as needed.
Lead and supervise accounting personnel, provide coaching, performance management, and professional development.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent work experience required.
CPA certification or Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience.
3+ years of experience in technical accounting, acquisition integration, or system implementation preferred.
Experience in a multinational manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and team development capabilities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to present in small and large group settings.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complex projects.

Familiarity with JD Edwards Financials, Planning Analytics, and Power BI.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
