Report directly to the Senior Manager of Tax and manage global income tax provision and compliance.
Manage preparation and/or review of federal, state, and international income tax returns and oversee 3rd party vendors as needed.
Prepare and/or review the quarterly and annual consolidated global tax provision (US GAAP) covering federal, state, and international income tax issues.
Ensure transfer pricing policy adherence and accuracy of calculations.
Prepare the income tax footnote and other financial statement disclosures; coordinate with technical accounting and disclosure team members.
Assist with tax research, tax modeling, and preparation of memos analyzing impacts of potential law changes.
Assist with responding to federal and state notices and audit requests/inquiries.
Collaborate closely with accounting, finance, and other departments to ensure tax compliance.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance; Masters in Tax and/or CPA preferred.
7+ years of US income tax experience in public accounting and/or a corporate environment required.
Experience with tax compliance software and NetSuite preferred.
Strong computer skills and proficiency in Excel are required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to analyze and document complex tax issues.
Experience with SOX, IPO readiness and public company reporting required.
Experience researching federal, state, and international income tax issues and preparing memos in support of tax positions.
Experience supporting tax audits and responding to federal and state notices/audit requests.
