About the role

  • Lead regulatory reporting processes, limit framework tracking, and enterprise ‑ wide portfolio routines
  • Partner with Underwriting, Treasury, Coverage, Finance, and Risk to gather inputs and create materials for transaction and portfolio reviews
  • Participate in cross ‑ functional initiatives aimed at enhancing portfolio monitoring, standardizing analytics, and improving reporting infrastructure
  • Engage with risk modelling professionals on model development
  • Monitor, assess, and report on asset quality, portfolio trends, emerging risk themes and credit policy exception trends
  • Analyze client ‑ level, industry ‑ level, and portfolio ‑ level data to craft strategies on appropriate capital allocation and inherent risk management
  • Produce polished, executive ‑ ready PowerPoint presentations for senior management, risk committees, and cross ‑ functional forums
  • Apply line of business and subject matter expertise to serve as a consultant and resource regarding credit, credit portfolio, and risk strategies

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Credit Consulting Portfolio experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Strong understanding of wholesale credit, capital markets, corporate lending, and banking concepts
  • Experience with wholesale banking risk management and portfolio management practices
  • Experience working with large datasets or reporting/BI tools
  • Demonstrated interest in developing expertise in portfolio strategy and credit risk
  • Strong verbal, written and project management communication skills
  • Familiarity with bank loss models and forecasting techniques a plus
  • Strong Excel skills (modeling, financial calculations, data analysis)
  • Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to produce executive ‑ ready presentations
  • Strong analytical, problem ‑ solving, and organizational skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
