About the role
- Lead regulatory reporting processes, limit framework tracking, and enterprise ‑ wide portfolio routines
- Partner with Underwriting, Treasury, Coverage, Finance, and Risk to gather inputs and create materials for transaction and portfolio reviews
- Participate in cross ‑ functional initiatives aimed at enhancing portfolio monitoring, standardizing analytics, and improving reporting infrastructure
- Engage with risk modelling professionals on model development
- Monitor, assess, and report on asset quality, portfolio trends, emerging risk themes and credit policy exception trends
- Analyze client ‑ level, industry ‑ level, and portfolio ‑ level data to craft strategies on appropriate capital allocation and inherent risk management
- Produce polished, executive ‑ ready PowerPoint presentations for senior management, risk committees, and cross ‑ functional forums
- Apply line of business and subject matter expertise to serve as a consultant and resource regarding credit, credit portfolio, and risk strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of Credit Consulting Portfolio experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Strong understanding of wholesale credit, capital markets, corporate lending, and banking concepts
- Experience with wholesale banking risk management and portfolio management practices
- Experience working with large datasets or reporting/BI tools
- Demonstrated interest in developing expertise in portfolio strategy and credit risk
- Strong verbal, written and project management communication skills
- Familiarity with bank loss models and forecasting techniques a plus
- Strong Excel skills (modeling, financial calculations, data analysis)
- Strong PowerPoint skills, with the ability to produce executive ‑ ready presentations
- Strong analytical, problem ‑ solving, and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
