About the role
- Develop, retain, and grow highly complex client relationships, by understanding the needs and priorities of clients
- Advise Healthcare industry clients on financing alternatives and industry-specific solutions, coordinating with internal stakeholders including Investment Banking and Treasury Management
- Lead the strategy and execution for full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients, leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions
- Collaborate with peers and colleagues to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives, escalate client inquiries when needed, provide leadership to improve processes and risk control, act as a mentor for less experienced colleagues; may additionally lead projects within team or across Commercial Banking line of business
- Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions provided by Wells Fargo and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines by keeping information current in relevant systems
- Strategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Healthcare Commercial Banking clients
Requirements
- 10+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Working knowledge of the healthcare industry
- General understanding of Capital Markets, including the ability to identify opportunities for referrals to Investment Banking and Private Credit / Direct Lending partners
- Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and Series 79 exam to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
- Experience working with partners to coordinate cross-sell opportunities across Wells Fargo’s suite of credit and non-credit products and services
- Ability to forge relationships with members of C-suite
- Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
