About the role

  • Independently develop, retain, and grow moderately complex client relationships and lead team while leveraging a solid understanding of the art of relationship management
  • Lead or participate in the structuring, modification, and renewal of moderately complex cash flow, real estate loans, and certain other industry specific solutions within Commercial Banking
  • Review, understand, and offer the full suite of moderately complex solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients
  • Independently lead or resolve moderately complex initiatives and guide team to meet deliverables within the Commercial Banking Relationship Management group
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives
  • Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines
  • Support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients

Requirements

  • 4+ years of Commercial Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
  • Completion of formal credit training program
  • Established local network and comprehensive knowledge of the Palo Alto / San Jose, CA market and surrounding areas
  • Commercial banking account relationship management experience for clients with annual revenue of $25MM to $100MM
  • Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
  • Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
  • Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
