Requirements

4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of Leadership experience
4+ years of hands‑on experience with the Hogan CIS platform
Cloud exposure (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, and observability (Grafana, Splunk)
Enterprise integration experience bridging mainframe (Hogan/CIS or equivalent) with modern microservices
Knowledge in Java/Spring Boot architecture, API design, and event-driven systems
Experience with Kafka (topics/partitions, ordering, retries), RDBMS (PostgreSQL/DB2), and ORM (JPA/Hibernate)
Practical experience with Generative AI and Prompt Engineering, including leveraging GenAI tools to accelerate development, improve documentation quality, automate analysis, and enhance team productivity
Experienced with leadership of cross-functional teams
Hands-on familiarity with mainframe constructs: JCL, DB2, VSAM, batch scheduling, file transfer (SFTP/MQ)
Proven delivery of data migrations: bulk loads, CDC, schema evolution, and reconciliation at scale
Data lineage and catalog tools; experience creating recon files and snapshot comparisons
Experience with Axway/enterprise file transfer, Voltage or similar data protection
