About the role
- Develop applications in Python to perform automation tasks related to Network Engineering
- Participate in the automation, support and maintenance of network infrastructure
- Troubleshoot networks, systems and applications to identify and correct malfunctions and operational problems
- Integrate, maintain, and consolidate network services including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless networks and network security
- Develop and follow best practices and operational procedures
- Maintain documentation and comply with service administrative procedures, including change management and ticket updates
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
- Interact with internal customers and receive direction from leaders while exercising independent judgment
Requirements
- 2+ years of Python programming experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of experience using Git, VS code, and other CI/CD tools
- Willingness to work on-site at stated location (This position offers a hybrid work schedule)
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship now or in the future
- Network Engineering experience (desired)
- Any relevant industry certifications (CCNA, JNCIA, Network+, A+)
- Experience with Django Python Framework (desired)
