About the role
- Manage and develop a Business Control Management team
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and risk and control development
- Lead Business Controls team by making strategic decisions
- Collaborate with and influence business heads, legal, audit, and regulators
- Develop and guide a culture of Business Controls talent development
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources to meet commitments
Requirements
- 8+ years of Risk Management or Business Controls experience
- 4+ years of Management or leadership experience
- Knowledge and understanding on Control Programs, including Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA)
- Experience managing all phases of the issue management lifecycle
- Strong working knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of Shared Risk Platform (SHRP) and Veritas
- Experience in assessing risk, reviewing risk ratings, identifying control gaps
- Experience assessing control design and performance through testing, audit or Risk Control Self-Assessment practices
- Strong relationship‑management skills
- Effective team management capabilities
- Ability to manage conflict and resolve issues by facilitating open communication
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
