Own the technology vision and multi year roadmap for Commercial Lending data platforms
Define and implement the data strategy (e.g. canonical models)
Provide senior level leadership for global onshore and offshore teams
Drive modernization initiatives (e.g., cloud migration, platform consolidation, tooling standardization)
Ensure scalable, resilient, and well governed data platforms supporting high-volume, mission critical workloads
Ensure data solutions meet regulatory requirements with strong controls, lineage, and auditability
Partner with Product, Architecture, and Business Executives to prioritize investments
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to senior executives and non technical stakeholders
Champion enterprise data governance, metadata management, and data quality frameworks
Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads
Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities
Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices
Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed
Identify financial management and strategic resourcing
Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives
Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation
Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals
Develop and guide a culture of talent development

Requirements

8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience
4+ years of management or leadership experience
Strong background in enterprise data platforms, data engineering, analytics, and reporting
Proven track record delivering technology solutions in highly regulated environments
Strong financial acumen, including portfolio management and budget accountability
Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience supporting Commercial Lending, Wholesale Lending, or Capital Markets data domains
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, large scale data warehouses, and data modernization programs
Familiarity with regulatory reporting, risk data aggregation, and data certification processes
Experience driving enterprise-wide data governance and quality initiatives
