About the role

  • Lead and develop more experienced management and cross-functional teams with focus on delivering strategies, plans and implementation of customer centric programs, services and projects for cross business function that has a profound impact on business lines and the enterprise
  • Identify opportunities and strategies to improve customer experiences
  • Develop sophisticated audience targeting, optimized customer engagement, insights or operational excellence that improve business outcomes
  • Lead marketing team by making strategic decisions to resolve, assess and mitigate vendor operational risk to meet and achieve business or performance deliverables
  • Interpret and develop legal, compliance, and privacy regulations and policies for managing risk and proactively driving digital operational excellence
  • Collaborate with and influence leaders, vendor relationships and internal or external business groups
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Marketing
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Be responsible for engaging marketing for Wells Fargo Home Lending, ensuring effective acquisition of new customers, and engagement and retention of existing customers through customer marketing programs
  • Ensure customer segment and product marketing strategies are consistent across marketing channels to support LOB strategies such as affluent audiences by rewarding WF relationships, and first-time home buyers with downpayment assistance programs.
  • Drive digital marketing strategy and engagement to ensure cohesive digital strategies and experiences across channels. This includes paid digital to drive volume and awareness, and ongoing digital engagement for homeowners and first time buyer tools.
  • Lead a team of approximately 40 members with direct responsibility for: campaign management, home lending brand and strategy, paid media, consumer segments, digital design and development, and sales channel enablement
  • Manage risks and controls for marketing processes across all channel platforms ensuring shared processes and procedures with other line of business marketing teams

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Marketing, Digital Marketing, Digital Platforms, or Social Media experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
  • Marketing experience with home lending products, and/or combination of consumer lending products
  • Experience with targeted campaign management, including paid media and search engine strategies
  • Experience in developing strategies enabled by digital consumer experiences
  • Experience with WF Risk Framework
  • At-scale Financial institution experience strongly desired
  • Management consulting, or experience as a business leader tasked to drive value preferred
  • Strong understanding of Consumer LOBs including what drives business value
  • Clear track record of partnering with business stakeholders to co-develop priorities and build operating models that elicit trust
  • Strong people leader with proven experience building, leading, and engaging high-performing, diverse, and inclusive teams.
