About the role

  • Manage a national team of fiduciary strategists focused on partnering with Wells Fargo Financial Advisors to provide fiduciary advisory services to clients, prospects and centers of influence, including the development of new trust, estate and philanthropic business for the firm
  • Manage overall performance of the Fiduciary Strategy team, including oversight of new business pipelines, client acquisition and onboarding
  • Oversee the development of Wells Fargo’s fiduciary services marketing, outreach and thought leadership programs, in conjunction with firmwide marketing and communications resources
  • Manage risk associated with the marketing and onboarding of fiduciary services business, including development and oversight of adequate due diligence activities related to pricing, Know Your Customer and business acceptance
  • Collaborate with and influence all levels of Wealth and Investment Management professionals, including senior leadership
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives of Wealth and Investment Management
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy

Requirements

  • 8+ years of Fiduciary Advisory experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management or leadership experience
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • A Juris Doctor (JD) degree
  • CTFA or similar industry designation
  • Extensive experience in trusts and estates and/or corporate fiduciary experience
  • Leadership experience with ability to effectively manage and engage teams
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to operate autonomously in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience leading a team of trust professionals that will be responsible for supporting new business generation within the HNW/UHNW space
