About the role
- Work within the Financial Crimes Technology Data Team to source, control, and manage data for Financial Crimes use cases like Transaction Monitoring, Investigations, Risk Assessment
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges and resolve issues
- Lead a team, act as an escalation point, and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
Requirements
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Experience facilitating meetings with participants at various levels of experience in different lines of business
- Ability to communicate effectively with business partners, product owners, vendors, and project managers
- Financial Crimes Regulatory experience
- Experience with SQL, Teradata, Ab Initio, Python, Autosys, and Big Data
- Familiar with Data Processing Design
- Able to lead meetings with Stakeholders
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience with Jira
- Advanced problem solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities
