About the role
- Lead and manage a team of systems operations engineers across multiple levels, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Oversee the planning, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-scale systems and network infrastructure. Provide strategic direction and technical guidance for resolving complex and high-impact production support issues. Partner with senior leadership to align systems operations strategies with business objectives and technology roadmaps. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including systems reviews, process enhancements, and adoption of industry best practices. Ensure compliance with technical process controls, standards, and governance frameworks. Mentor and develop team members, providing coaching, performance feedback, and career development opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support change management, incident response, and root cause analysis. Manage resource allocation, project prioritization, and operational risk mitigation.
Requirements
- 6+ years of Systems Engineering and Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education 3+ years of management or leadership experience 3+ years working in production support within a Financial Institution or related industry
