About the role
- Partner with the Chief People Officer and People Team leadership to develop and deliver WelbeHealth’s workforce development strategy; Build and maintain multi-year workforce projections, aligning talent needs with organizational growth, emerging skillsets, specialized roles, and service line expansion
- Exploration of traditional and novel talent pools for immediate and long-term needs; Explore and implement innovative workforce models, including flexible staffing approaches and AI/technology-enabled solutions
- Identify gaps and opportunities in workforce capabilities and develop strategies to address both immediate and long-term talent needs
- Establish and cultivate partnerships with academic institutions and workforce development boards to build pipelines of students, alumni, and community-based talent into WelbeHealth, support internal career mobility and professional development pathways and Advance awareness and research of the PACE model and WelbeHealth’s mission
- Design and manage grant processes, including identifying opportunities, leading applications, and overseeing implementation and measurement of outcomes
- In partnership with the Medical Practice, Operations, and functional disciplines, oversees rotation and internship programs, including observation/residencies/electives for physicians, nurses, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists and registered dietitians.
- Partners with Talent team on novel sources of talent, including international/domestic relocation, inter-market transfer programs, externships, and volunteers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or commitment to attain a bachelor’s degree within three (3) years required; equivalent experience may be substituted
- Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in human resources, with a minimum of five (5) years specializing in workforce planning, Talent strategy/talent pipeline development, or workforce development programs
- Experience building and managing external partnerships (e.g., academic institutions, workforce boards, community organizations) preferred
- Proven ability to lead initiatives from strategy through execution, including program design, implementation, and measurement
- Demonstrated expertise in both design and execution in the assigned area
- Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills
- Ability to think both strategically and operationally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
