  • Design solutions to automate processes for improved efficiency and data-driven decisions.
  • Identify risks in designs and propose mitigation strategies.
  • Create and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams and specifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, including AI, to ensure continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and work with with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure solutions meet security and regulatory requirements, participating in audits.
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams and review designs for compliance with standards.
  • Participate in architectural forums within the organisation.
  • Leverage core systems like PowerPlatform and Boomi in solution designs for scalability.
  • Design systems with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery capabilities, including testing protocols.

Requirements

  • Experience in creating architectural designs for business solutions including integrations and automation.
  • In-depth knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns and software development methodologies.
  • Experience and technical knowledge of Boomi or similar integration systems.
  • Experience on Azure or other cloud-based platforms including AI services.
  • PowerPlatform / PowerApps / PowerAutomate experience.
  • IT Service experience (ideally ITIL exposure).
  • The ability to create high-level and low-level technical designs to meet business requirements.
  • Understanding of development principles and lifecycles relating to business applications and data management systems
  • Good understanding of businesses processes and ERP / supporting systems including WMS & APS (Advanced Planning System).
  • FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing background (Nice To Have).
  • Experience in AI solution design and deployment (Nice To Have).
  • Intermediate SQL language experience; scripting / development language skills (Nice To Have).
  • Experience or knowledge of Extract Transform Load (ETL) and/or Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools (Nice To Have).
  • SOX exposure or experience (Nice To Have).
