About the role
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
- Assist in the preparation of SEC filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and other required reports
- Oversee the reconciliation of balance sheet and income statement accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations
- Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff
- Report to Accounting Manager and work hybrid based out of Lehi, UT HQ
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or progress towards CPA preferred
- 2-3 years of public accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Legal eligibility to work in the US (application asks about US work eligibility and visa sponsorship)
