About the role

  • Build and lead the Technical Account Management function within Customer Success, defining its mission, scope, and operating model
  • Design and execute the global TAM strategy, including hiring plans, role structure, engagement frameworks, and success metrics
  • Act as the senior technical and strategic partner for a portfolio of enterprise and security-first customers
  • Lead technical Proof of Value engagements alongside Sales, serving as the senior technical authority during evaluation
  • Translate customer attacker-emulation goals into practical, measurable offensive outcomes
  • Own technical onboarding, adversary simulation strategy, architecture reviews, and long-term attack maturity planning
  • Drive technical adoption, expansion, and long-term account success in partnership with Customer Success Managers and Commercial teams
  • Run executive-level and deeply technical workshops, attack design sessions, and enablement with security teams and red team leaders
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, and Offensive Research to ensure customer attacker insights directly influence roadmap and innovation
  • Establish TAM playbooks, standards, escalation paths, and operational processes that enable repeatable global scale
  • Mentor and develop future TAMs, creating a high-performing, technically elite team over time
  • Represent watchTowr as a trusted offensive authority and strategic partner - not a generic vendor

Requirements

  • Leadership experience building or scaling technical customer-facing functions (TAM, Solutions Engineering, Security Advisory, or similar)
  • Strong offensive security background - experience in red teaming, penetration testing, adversary emulation, exploit development, or offensive research
  • SaaS technical account ownership - experience supporting enterprise customers using a security SaaS platform in a technical advisory or TAM-style role
  • Startup or scale-up experience - comfortable building strategy, processes, tooling, and teams from scratch - not stepping into a mature function
  • Builder mindset with hands-on credibility - able to lead at a strategic level while remaining technically deep with customers
  • Enterprise technical stakeholder engagement - confident working directly with CISOs, Heads of Red Team, Detection Engineering leads, and security architects
  • Strong systems and attack-chain understanding - deep knowledge of Active Directory & Windows internals, Cloud attack surfaces (AWS, Azure, GCP), and identity abuse, lateral movement, privilege escalation, persistence, C2
  • Exceptional communicator - able to translate complex adversary tradecraft into clear technical and executive narratives
  • Highly autonomous and execution-focused - thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and drives outcomes without needing heavy process
  • Experience influencing product direction through customer feedback loops and offensive insights
  • Track record of mentoring or leading high-performing technical teams
  • Passion for shaping the future of offensive security as a product, not just as a service

  • Competitive compensation
  • Meaningful role in a company
  • The best tools and powerful kit
