About the role
- Build and lead the Technical Account Management function within Customer Success, defining its mission, scope, and operating model
- Design and execute the global TAM strategy, including hiring plans, role structure, engagement frameworks, and success metrics
- Act as the senior technical and strategic partner for a portfolio of enterprise and security-first customers
- Lead technical Proof of Value engagements alongside Sales, serving as the senior technical authority during evaluation
- Translate customer attacker-emulation goals into practical, measurable offensive outcomes
- Own technical onboarding, adversary simulation strategy, architecture reviews, and long-term attack maturity planning
- Drive technical adoption, expansion, and long-term account success in partnership with Customer Success Managers and Commercial teams
- Run executive-level and deeply technical workshops, attack design sessions, and enablement with security teams and red team leaders
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships with Product, Engineering, and Offensive Research to ensure customer attacker insights directly influence roadmap and innovation
- Establish TAM playbooks, standards, escalation paths, and operational processes that enable repeatable global scale
- Mentor and develop future TAMs, creating a high-performing, technically elite team over time
- Represent watchTowr as a trusted offensive authority and strategic partner - not a generic vendor
Requirements
- Leadership experience building or scaling technical customer-facing functions (TAM, Solutions Engineering, Security Advisory, or similar)
- Strong offensive security background - experience in red teaming, penetration testing, adversary emulation, exploit development, or offensive research
- SaaS technical account ownership - experience supporting enterprise customers using a security SaaS platform in a technical advisory or TAM-style role
- Startup or scale-up experience - comfortable building strategy, processes, tooling, and teams from scratch - not stepping into a mature function
- Builder mindset with hands-on credibility - able to lead at a strategic level while remaining technically deep with customers
- Enterprise technical stakeholder engagement - confident working directly with CISOs, Heads of Red Team, Detection Engineering leads, and security architects
- Strong systems and attack-chain understanding - deep knowledge of Active Directory & Windows internals, Cloud attack surfaces (AWS, Azure, GCP), and identity abuse, lateral movement, privilege escalation, persistence, C2
- Exceptional communicator - able to translate complex adversary tradecraft into clear technical and executive narratives
- Highly autonomous and execution-focused - thrives in ambiguity, takes ownership, and drives outcomes without needing heavy process
- Experience influencing product direction through customer feedback loops and offensive insights
- Track record of mentoring or leading high-performing technical teams
- Passion for shaping the future of offensive security as a product, not just as a service
