Support and conduct analyses of growth initiatives across CNN’s digital platforms to identify trends and opportunities for optimizing conversion.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and evaluate hypotheses, contributing to data-driven decision-making.
Build and maintain reports and dashboards that track key conversion metrics and key performance indicators.
Conduct exploratory analyses to uncover friction points in the user experience and support recommendations for improvement.
Present findings in clear, concise formats to stakeholders, with guidance from senior analysts and managers.
Collaborate with data engineering and platform teams to ensure data accuracy and scalability of analytics solutions.
Requirements
1+ years of experience in analytics, preferably in growth or digital media
Working knowledge of SQL for querying and analyzing large datasets
Experience with data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Tableau and Looker
Familiarity basic growth- and product- analytics concepts such as attribution, funnels, LTV, and cohort analysis
Strong attention to detail, a proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for data quality
Curiosity about digital product performance and user behavior, with a strong interest in understanding what drives direct-to-consumer growth and conversion
Exposure to digital subscription businesses or media industry (Nice-to-Haves)
Experience with statistical programming languages (Python, R) (Nice-to-Haves)
Basic familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and experimental design (Nice-to-Haves)
