About the role

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Casino Cage, safeguarding assets and ensuring compliance with all internal controls, company policies, and state gaming regulations.
  • Manage, direct, and supervise all cage operations, ensuring accuracy in financial transactions, adherence to procedures, and maintenance of an efficient, secure, and guest-focused work environment.
  • Maintain control and inventory of currency, coins, checks, related forms, and documentation.
  • Implement and enforce gaming controls and internal policies in accordance with regulatory standards.
  • Review and approve departmental reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Oversee recordkeeping and financial documentation within the Cage area.
  • Evaluate, train, and coach Cage team members to promote performance excellence.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews for Cage personnel.
  • Maintain confidentiality of internal operations and financial data.
  • Support the Cage Manager in developing and maintaining department goals and initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • Five (5) years of Cage experience, including at least two (2) years in a supervisory capacity
  • Strong knowledge of state gaming regulations related to casino operations
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
