Perform comprehensive computer-aided and manual structural design calculations in accordance with applicable building and material codes, ensuring precision and attention to detail throughout all phases of the project.
Prepare and oversee the development of structural models, calculation packages, construction documents, and specifications.
Collaborate with senior engineers to plan project layouts and integrate structural elements into cohesive designs.
Participate in internal and external project meetings, coordinating with other disciplines.
Conduct field work, including site verifications, assessments, and troubleshooting.
Perform construction administration duties, including periodic site visits to ensure compliance with design intent.
Support the development and maintenance of engineering standards.
Participate in the team’s quality assurance and quality control processes.
Mentor team members in the use of structural calculation software and assist with task organization.
Lead and coordinate structural engineering projects as Engineer of Record (EOR), when assigned.
Conduct peer reviews, and prepare reports on findings.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
5+ years of experience in a structural engineering role
Proficiency in Revit
Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and provide technical guidance to team members
Deliver timely, reliable, and courteous service
