About the role

  • Responsible for recruiting and launching Marketplace sellers.
  • Work closely with category seller growth teams to gather market opportunities and competitive trends.
  • Develop acquisition strategies to attract new accounts, expand assortment and increase inventory.
  • Manage business development lifecycle from sourcing to transactability, ensuring sellers are equipped for success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 2 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area.
  • 3+ years of successful sales/business development experience, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace or retail tech.
  • 3-4 years’ experience in Channel Partnerships, Business Management, Product Marketing, Omni-Channel Merchandising, or a related area.
  • E-commerce experience required.
  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Experience prospecting, qualifying, and cold-calling companies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed.
