About the role

  • Lead advanced analytical work using Python as a primary tool, including exploration, modeling, experimentation, and automation.
  • Write and optimize SQL to extract, transform, and analyze large-scale datasets.
  • Deliver fast-turn, high-impact analysis to support urgent business needs in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Own longer-term analytical and insight-driven initiatives, from problem definition through execution and stakeholder adoption.
  • Design, experiment with, and apply Generative AI / LLM-based approaches (e.g., text analysis, summarization, classification, signal extraction) alongside traditional advanced analytics.
  • Independently scope and execute workstreams, while also collaborating closely with cross-functional partners and VoS team members.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and analytical outputs (e.g., Tableau) to support ongoing monitoring and decision-making.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and root causes across seller behavior, operational data, and feedback signals.
  • Communicate insights clearly through written narratives, presentations, and working sessions tailored to varied audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., data science, computer science, engineering, statistics, economics); advanced degree a plus.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Python for data analysis, modeling, and automation.
  • Solid experience with SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets.
  • Experience with or strong interest in Generative AI, LLMs, or applied machine learning, particularly for unstructured data analysis.
  • Experience building dashboards and visualizations (e.g., Tableau).
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams and deliver results in a fast-moving environment.
