About the role
- Lead the Faster Payout program across U.S. and International Marketplaces, driving GMV growth by improving seller cash flow, experience, and monetization opportunities.
- Support global initiatives to achieve Faster Payout parity with the U.S. Marketplace, balancing global scalability with local market requirements.
- Own initiatives to optimize the end-to-end seller payments journey by identifying pain points, friction areas, and improvement opportunities.
- Develop strategies focused on enhancing ease of use, efficiency, and transparency in the seller payment experience.
- Drive seller advocacy to enhance seller payment experience, amplifying seller voices and addressing concerns with impactful and measurable results.
- Collaborate with Product & Tech partners to focus on building foundational payment related seller tools and automation to improve operational efficiency.
- Partner with Credit Risk and Billing to define and operationalize laddering frameworks across Seller Services, Payment Services, and Billing programs, reducing financial exposure while managing end-to-end reconciliation.
- Leverage advanced analytics to design payment strategies, seller segmentation, and risk-based controls across payouts and settlements.
- Identify and execute initiatives to reduce other seller cost components to manage overall losses.
- Serve as a strategic cross-functional leader, partnering with Product, Tech, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Marketplace teams to align execution and influence roadmaps.
- Define success metrics and measurement frameworks to track GMV impact, adoption, loss reduction, and seller experience outcomes.
Requirements
- Master’s in Business, Statistics, Computer Science, or similar field required.
- At least 5 years industry experience preferably in Payments, eCommerce, Risk, Financial Services, or similar space.
- Ability to lead cross functional teams and prior experience working with Product and Technology teams; proven ability to influence internal / external partners and provide clear actionable insights.
- Advanced understanding of SQL and working with large datasets.
- Experience with one or more data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker etc.
- High proficiency with Excel based data analysis.
- Deep analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative, and a track record of applying these to inform effective and successful business decisions.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Knowledge of e-commerce marketplace platforms, seller payments and financial ecosystems is a plus.
- Understanding of risk management and fraud prevention in payments is an advantage.
