About the role
- Responsible for growing GMV sales for the Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) program.
- Generate growth by driving WFS marketplace adoption and maximizing seller sales.
- Recruit and onboard to Walmart marketplace.
- Increase adoption of Walmart Fulfillment services programs to improve seller performance and experience.
- Work closely with internal teams and external partners to create lead flows and manage a pipeline of prospective Sellers.
- Develop creative solutions to identify new prospects and build a strong pipeline.
- Formulate and execute negotiation plans and address unanticipated issues.
- Develop relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within management of prospective accounts and internal stakeholders.
- Oversee the onboarding process for new strategic sellers and develop initial targets and action plans that accelerate item setup and improve offer quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 2 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area.
- 6+ years of successful sales/business development experience, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace or retail tech.
- Proven ability to build strong business relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Self-motivated and self-directed. Demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
- Detail and results oriented with a sense of urgency.
- Experience working with eCommerce used and refurbished sellers is a plus.
- Able to travel domestically to and from multiple facilities or worksites requiring consecutive overnight stays.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics (pivot tables, v-lookup, Macros, Power BI, etc.).
