About the role

  • Responsible for growing GMV sales for the Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS) program.
  • Generate growth by driving WFS marketplace adoption and maximizing seller sales.
  • Recruit and onboard to Walmart marketplace.
  • Increase adoption of Walmart Fulfillment services programs to improve seller performance and experience.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external partners to create lead flows and manage a pipeline of prospective Sellers.
  • Develop creative solutions to identify new prospects and build a strong pipeline.
  • Formulate and execute negotiation plans and address unanticipated issues.
  • Develop relationships with key influencers and decision-makers within management of prospective accounts and internal stakeholders.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new strategic sellers and develop initial targets and action plans that accelerate item setup and improve offer quality.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, or related field and 2 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area OR 4 years’ experience in business development, market development, product development, or related area.
  • 6+ years of successful sales/business development experience, preferably in e-commerce, marketplace or retail tech.
  • Proven ability to build strong business relationships and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Self-motivated and self-directed. Demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.
  • Detail and results oriented with a sense of urgency.
  • Experience working with eCommerce used and refurbished sellers is a plus.
  • Able to travel domestically to and from multiple facilities or worksites requiring consecutive overnight stays.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analytics (pivot tables, v-lookup, Macros, Power BI, etc.).
