About the role

  • Coordinates testing new products, platforms, inventory, creative formats, and optimization strategies to help evolve Walmart Connect’s offerings.
  • Manages the development and implementation of processes for testing new products, new features, or feature enhancements.
  • Owns evaluation, prioritization, implementation and execution of new products/new features, assessing risks, collecting and managing testing-team feedback, determining launch requirements, determining in consultation with other leads the strategic direction and goals for launch, and identifying barriers and obstacles that may impact performance, execution, and/or adoption across Display & Search products.
  • Builds relationships and visibility with Optimization leadership, Product leadership, and Operations & Client Services leadership through presenting key project updates, recommendations, unique findings, technical requirements, feature requirements, best practices, etc. and generally representing the voice and needs of the Optimization team in cross-functional discussions.
  • Supervises the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training materials for the Optimization team and cross-functional teams as needed, ensuring alignment across executional cross-functional counterparts and offshore teams, and ensuring clarity and consistency in execution and support of new products or features.
  • Is a programmatic subject matter expert for Walmart Connect.
  • Maintains relationships with platform partners to keep current on new products, new features, pricing, and innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6+ years of experience in programmatic buying, search, O&O site optimization, programmatic planning/strategy, digital media planning or buying, digital ad ops or trafficking, analytics, or digital campaign management OR 6+ years’ experience in project management, operations management, or related area
  • Experience with Demand Side Platforms (e.g., Walmart Ad Center, The Walmart DSP, The Trade Desk, Meta, Pinterest, TikTok, Amazon DSP, Xandr/AppNexus, DV360, Verizon, Amobee, Adelphic/Viant, etc.) and/or digital ad-server technology (e.g. Google Campaign Manager, Google Ad Manager, Sizmek, etc.)
  • Understanding of CTV/OTT, rich media, dynamic creative, mobile and video ad units
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Passion for digital media and advertising technology
