Drive sales in the Vision Center by ensuring effective merchandise presentation, accurate pricing, proper signing, in-stock and inventory levels, budgeting and forecasting sales
Model, enforce, and provide direction to Associates on proper Customer/Member service approaches and techniques and resolve Customer/Member needs, complaints and issues within Company guidelines
Oversee and participate in community outreach programs and encourage Associates to serve the community
Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures and regulations for the Vision Center, including asset protection and safety controls
Supervise and develop Associates by hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, providing recognition, and promoting a belonging mindset
Provide optical services: consult with and educate Members/Customers, select products, obtain measurements, verify prescriptions, maintain confidentiality, perform minor frame repair, and maintain optical equipment
Coordinate and oversee job-related activities by developing relationships with stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives, identifying goals and measuring progress
Implement and monitor action plans to improve performance, support Open Door Policy, and promote Company mission, values and ethics
Requirements
Completion of 2 or more years of college OR 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience OR 2 years’ general work experience including 1 year’s optical experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Current eligibility to work as an optician or apprentice optician under applicable state laws, regulations, and/or rules
