About the role
- Provides comprehensive patient care by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations and other Walmart programs in compliance with Board of Pharmacy statutes/regulations.
- Drive sales and profit in Pharmacy and OTC areas through merchandise presentation, pricing, inventory, budgeting, forecasting and cross-functional relationships.
- Model, enforce and provide direction to Associates on customer service approaches and techniques; resolve customer needs, complaints and issues.
- Oversee community outreach programs and encourage Associate involvement.
- Ensure compliance with Company and legal policies, procedures and regulations; implement and monitor loss prevention and safety controls; conduct operational and quality assurance reviews.
- Provide supervision and development opportunities for Associates including training, mentoring, performance feedback and recognition.
- Ensure confidentiality of information, documentation and records as required by Company policies and regulations.
- Manage Pharmacy Operations, conduct Associate meetings, ensure alignment with HIPAA, SOP, QA policies and proper advising on dispensing, insurance and licensure issues.
- Oversee Inventory Flow: monitor inventory flow process and ensure proper execution.
- Manage Finances: interpret, analyze and explain financial data; manage budgets and ensure alignment with business strategy.
- Quality Patient Care: create culture of patient care, safety and accuracy; ensure counseling on new therapy and documentation; analyze and implement improvements.
- Compliance Focused Execution: communicate, train and guide processes for completion and follow-up on compliance initiatives; implement auditing processes and improve billing, HIPAA and SOP adherence.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD, degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP).
- Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
- Completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
- U.S. pharmacy related experience (preferred).
