Operations Associate

Associate

• Act as a first point of contact for clients across calls, email and live chat — identifying and assessing their needs and resolving queries promptly and accurately.
• Serve as the dedicated support contact for our high-net-worth (HNW) clients, delivering a personalised, high-touch experience and guiding them through onboarding from account opening to first investment.**Support clients in Arabic (essential), English (essential), and French (desirable) ensuring clear, professional and culturally attuned communication.
• Guide clients through onboarding, KYC and account-related processes, coordinating with internal teams where needed to remove friction.
• Handle complaints with empathy, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within agreed timeframes, and following up to ensure resolution.
• Keep accurate records of client interactions, process client accounts and documentation, and maintain trackers for leads and queries generated through company campaigns.
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies, and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs) and process deliverables.

Private Clients Service Associate

• Lead the operational delivery of payments and banking initiatives and integrations, working closely with central Operations, with strong reconciliation and controls throughout.
• Scope operational requirements, coordinate with central Product and Engineering, and drive new launches and integrations end to end — including launch readiness, testing, go-live and post-launch monitoring.
• Work alongside the Investments and Operations teams who run the platform day to day, ensuring new capabilities are operationally ready and continually improving processes, controls and service standards.
• Design, document and embed scalable operating procedures, controls, approvals, reconciliations and audit trails that allow the UAE wealth management business to grow efficiently.
• Build scalable, well-controlled operational processes, reconciliation routines, incident management and reporting, and partner with Customer Support on escalations and client-impacting issues.
• Manage key operational relationships with banking, payment, execution, custody, technology and KYC partners, ensuring service levels, timelines, reporting standards and operational quality are maintained.
• Work closely with Compliance, Risk, Legal, Finance, Product, Engineering and Investment teams to ensure operational, regulatory, financial and product requirements are reflected in day-to-day workflows and launch planning.
• Use operational data, process insight, partner feedback and team input to improve workflows, introduce automation and AI-supported processes, strengthen controls and support Wahed’s growth in the UAE.

Operations Manager

Compliance

• Ensure compliance with SEBI (Investment Advisers) Regulations, 2013, including disclosure norms, suitability standards, risk profiling, and reporting obligations.
• Monitor compliance with circulars related to robo-advisory models, automated advice, data privacy, and digital onboarding.
• Manage regular and event-based SEBI filings, including annual audits and compliance certifications.
• Implement and monitor compliance checks on the **fintech platform’s onboarding flow**, including digital KYC, client consent, and agreement modules.
• Ensure that **automated advice algorithms** comply with SEBI’s suitability and risk assessment guidelines.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to embed compliance controls into backend systems and UI/UX journeys.
• Assist in drafting and maintaining Compliance Manuals, AML/KYC Policies, Data Privacy Policies, and Disclosures on the platform.
• Ensure clarity and compliance in all digital communication: website disclosures, app content, push notifications, emails, social media posts, etc.
• Review investment advice, client agreements, financial plans, and communications to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure timely disclosures to clients regarding conflict of interest, fees, affiliations, and risk factors.
• Assist in preparing for and responding to SEBI inspections and internal audits.
• Maintain records in accordance with regulatory guidelines (minimum 5 years).
• Conduct periodic risk assessments and compliance checks across departments.
• Conduct training for cross-functional teams (especially tech, product, sales) to raise awareness of SEBI rules and platform compliance responsibilities.

Compliance Executive

Risk

• Accountable directly to the Group Risk Manager.
• Working in the second line of defence to partner with the first line to understand the business and technology risks within the group.
• To assist in creating reports, summaries, presentations and process documents for the Group Risk team.
• Review, evaluate and test Business controls as well as ITGC (IT- General controls) and ITAC (IT application controls) failures in the areas of access management, change management, Business continuity and Disaster Recovery and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Prepare BCP policies and share with the Business and Technology team.
• Coordinate for risk meetings at Group and country level.
• Perform independent testing (business and technology) and support external agencies for their requirements.
• Perform regular risk reviews and provide recommendations and guidance on identified security and control risks.
• Track open audit observations and follow-up for closure
• Develop a strong understanding of business and system processes
• Develop, implement, and maintain internal audit policies and procedures in accordance with local and international best practice
• Ensure complete, accurate and timely audit information is reported to Management and/or Risk Committees.
• Develop systems and processes for gathering and storing data for future analytic projects
• Keep abreast of the latest security, privacy, and regulatory concerns and best practices impacting third party risk management.

Risk Analyst

Accountant

• Assist in the preparation, analysis, and presentation of financial reports for our global real estate investments.
• Request statements of accounts to proceed with reconciliation and decide on settlement/collection.
• Conduct proper reconciliation of accounts receivables & payables and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Keep track of financial models for real estate investments, with a clear understanding of performance measures such as dividend yield, tax implications, project IRR, cap rate ratios and others;
• Ensure compliance with international and local accounting standards and regulations for our real estate ventures across different jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
• Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities in our real estate investment portfolio.
• Support decision-making processes by providing data-driven insights.

Junior Accountant

• Own the operational reporting rhythm of the UK business, maintaining an accurate and timely view of performance across weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles.
• Own customer operations processes, ensuring the integrity of customer reports while generating meaningful insights that drive better outcomes for customers.
• Work closely with compliance, product, tech, and investment teams - from ensuring our regulatory reporting is watertight to getting new products and investment vehicles off the ground.
• Drive operational excellence and scalability across all processes, working closely with global teams to optimise tools, automation, and ways of working to deliver consistently better outcomes.
• Own and project manage strategic growth initiatives across the UK business - from launching new funds and product features to identifying opportunities through customer and market research.
