Facilitate delivery of core services provided by the E&S Compliance Team of W.R. Berkley Corporation and report to the Manager of the E&S Compliance Team.
Process intake of key communications concerning the businesses served and support or document compliance for businesses served by the Group Compliance Team.
Appointments/Licensing: Assist with tracking continuing education credits, updating spreadsheets, and participate in agency licensing projects from an administrative standpoint.
Maintain Department calendars in Teams.
System Updates: Test system upgrades to BPMI to ensure updates have processed successfully to production site and suggest system updates as needed.
Consumer Complaints: Assist with administration and filing of responses to various states; assist with document production and organization of file materials for responses.
Mail Distribution & Telephone: Process all physical mail and answer phone calls Monday–Friday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. MST; respond to voicemails received into the department line.
Economic Sanctions/OFAC: Process all OFAC reviews received into Lexis Nexis Bridger system for companies in Excess and Surplus Group Compliance Team; process manual OFAC alerts as needed.
Medicare: Assist with processing spreadsheets as requested.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Minimum one year of experience in insurance or a related business.
Insurance coursework is preferred.
Legal assistant training is desirable.
Copying, scanning, filing and coordinating mailings.
Proficient in Microsoft suite of products: Word; Excel; Outlook; Teams.
Good organization skills and a strong attention to detail.
Must have analytical skills.
Must be able to work independently after receiving training.
Must be able to work hours needed (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., MST).
Must be able to pre-schedule time off.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
