About the role
- Shared resource across Berkley Financial Specialists and Berkley Crime lines of business supporting VP of Business Operations
- Provide ownership of tactical operational support and collaborate on strategic projects
- User Acceptance Testing — rigorous functional and regression testing of policy administration, workflow, and other support systems
- Coordinate end-to-end testing for system changes impacting multiple systems or data warehouse repositories
- Frontline administration support as subject matter expert for policy administration, workflow, and support systems to troubleshoot user issues
- Maintain internal Workflow Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures for offshore resources
- Coordinate forms management including wording maintenance and testing/implementation in policy administration system
- Onboard new users: provide orientation and support hiring managers with IT set-up
- General IT troubleshooting (distribution lists, shared mailboxes, etc.)
- Participate in cross-functional innovation teams and assist in AI adoption use cases
- Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as directed by supervisor
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university (preferred)
- Three or more years of insurance industry/related experience and/or training
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and other related programs
- Attention to detail
- Professional and effective communication skills
- Comfortable working both independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to learn
- Capable of balancing multiple projects with competing priorities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly when necessary
- Skilled in effective collaboration and evidence-based decision-making
- Familiarity with User Acceptance Testing processes
- Experience creating workflow documentation
- Familiarity with OneNote and Excel/Power BI (preferred)
