About the role
- Support the design, automation, and deployment of secure AWS-based architectures
- Focus on networking, identity integration, infrastructure as code, and application layer support
- Design, automate, and deploy solutions using Python, Terraform/AWS CDK, and Ansible
- Integrate identity providers and develop API integrations using JavaScript/TypeScript
- Support mission-critical cloud solutions in a hybrid, cleared environment
- Collaborate with the dynamic IT team and manage critical infrastructure
- Work approximately 2–3 days per week on-site in Fort Meade, MD
- Contribute to ongoing learning and professional development initiatives
Requirements
- 7-9 years of professional experience supporting design, automation, and deployment of secure AWS-based architectures
- AWS architecture design and implementation
- Identity provider integration (e.g., SAML, OIDC)
- Python (for scripting and task automation)
- Ansible (for configuration management)
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK)
- Strong understanding of cloud and CNE-based networking
- JavaScript / TypeScript API integration
- U.S. citizenship required (pursuant to government contract)
- Active Full Scope Polygraph (FSP) Security Clearance is required
- Must be able to work approximately 2–3 days per week on-site in Fort Meade, MD
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and value teamwork
- Strong problem-solving skills
