About the role

  • Drive sales growth and expand VP’s consumer product line within Automotive and Outdoor Power Equipment Accessories retail channels
  • Increase distribution and volume by managing assigned accounts and developing new retailer and distributor partnerships across multiple channels
  • Build strong relationships with buyers, account managers, inventory planners, and sales teams
  • Use sales history, data tools, and competitive insights to manage territory performance
  • Promote VP Racing brand awareness through events, trade shows, and customer activities
  • Process purchase orders and coordinate with fulfillment, accounting, and other internal teams
  • Collaborate across company divisions on special projects and referrals
  • Utilize Salesforce CRM to organize accounts, track prospects, and measure performance
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, or related field AND at least five (5) years of experience in sales; OR any combination of education and experience that results in the applicable skills, knowledge, and abilities
  • Extremely organized and able to manage logistics of multiple duties with professionalism and strong communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • High levels of accuracy, timeliness and dependability
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the organization and with all levels of employees and management
  • Well versed in multiple retail management information systems
  • Previous sales experience with aftermarket distribution, big box retail, E-Commerce, Travel Center or Industrial is preferred
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with large prospects
  • Experience working tradeshows and industry events
