About the role
- Act as the Product Owner for HR Services workstreams, including onboarding, offboarding, leavers, and new hires.
- Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring consistent grooming, refinement, and prioritisation aligned with strategic goals.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to align product vision, roadmap, and delivery timelines.
- Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
- Apply strong SAFe Agile practices, including Program Increment (PI) planning and continuous exploration of backlog items.
- Use JIRA effectively for backlog management, sprint planning, and progress tracking.
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across HR systems and processes.
- Ensure timely delivery of compliant solutions that meet business needs.
- Benchmark external best practices and help the organisation leverage modern technology and evolving HR trends.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Solution Owner or Product Owner within the HR domain.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems, processes, and employee lifecycle activities (Hire to Retire).
- Demonstrated experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
- Proficient in JIRA and experienced in SAFe Agile methodologies.
- Strong communication, organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
- Computer Science or IT Engineering background.
- Certification in SAFe Agile or equivalent.
- Experience with HR platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar.
- Background in enterprise-level HR transformation projects.
