About the role

  • Act as the Product Owner for HR Services workstreams, including onboarding, offboarding, leavers, and new hires.
  • Own and manage the product backlog, ensuring consistent grooming, refinement, and prioritisation aligned with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with Product Managers to align product vision, roadmap, and delivery timelines.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with organisational objectives.
  • Apply strong SAFe Agile practices, including Program Increment (PI) planning and continuous exploration of backlog items.
  • Use JIRA effectively for backlog management, sprint planning, and progress tracking.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement across HR systems and processes.
  • Ensure timely delivery of compliant solutions that meet business needs.
  • Benchmark external best practices and help the organisation leverage modern technology and evolving HR trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Solution Owner or Product Owner within the HR domain.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, processes, and employee lifecycle activities (Hire to Retire).
  • Demonstrated experience in requirement gathering and stakeholder management.
  • Proficient in JIRA and experienced in SAFe Agile methodologies.
  • Strong communication, organisational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
  • Computer Science or IT Engineering background.
  • Certification in SAFe Agile or equivalent.
  • Experience with HR platforms such as Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, or similar.
  • Background in enterprise-level HR transformation projects.
