About the role
- Supporting Strategic compliance across Vodafone Three’s Consumer products
- Deliver high-quality, pragmatic and solution-oriented legal advice across a range of consumer product issues including advertising
- Support compliance with relevant legislation and regulation, safeguarding commercial integrity
- Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders across the Consumer Business Unit
- Support legal risk assessment across the strategic priorities
- Advocate for proactive risk identification and assurance across VodafoneThree’s business initiatives
- Contribute training and guidance for teams across the business on legal topics relevant to the team’s stakeholders
- Proactively contribute ideas to drive continuous improvement in legal processes, embedding automation, simplification and scalability to support legal efficiency
- Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including group company functions, external counsel and strategic commercial partners
Requirements
- Experience as a qualified lawyer in a leading consumer facing company, telco experience is desirable
- Understanding of the retail, technology and telecoms sectors and knowledge of applicable legal trends
- Proactively manages legal risk, balancing risk and mitigations proportionately to enable the business to meet its financial and growth targets
- Able to apply sound commercial judgement to balance legal risk with business opportunity, to enable strategic decision making aligned with business priorities
- Possess effective stakeholder management and negotiation skills, enabling influence across internal teams and external parties
- Builds trusted relationships that drive alignment and support strategic outcomes
- Applies legal analysis and data to problems, to extract critical insights and shape pragmatic solutions
- Communicates outcomes with clarity and precision, tailoring messages appropriately to diverse audiences to support confident decision-making across the business
