About the role
- Lead day-to-day internal IT operations, ensuring reliability of workplace platforms and infrastructure.
- Own SLAs and drive ITSM excellence across Incident, Problem, and Change processes.
- Chair major incident management bridges and conduct post-incident reviews to reduce MTTR.
- Implement compliance and InfoSec controls, ensuring audit readiness and operational risk management.
- Manage vendor relationships and align with asset and finance teams for cost optimisation.
- Mentor and lead IT teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Oversee budget planning, utilisation, and reporting for the function.
- Partner with automation teams to identify waste and implement service improvement plans.
Requirements
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in IT operations with proven leadership exposure.
- Strong expertise in ITSM tools (ServiceNow/Remedy) and processes.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and team leadership skills.
- Knowledge of end-user computing, IT/network infrastructure, and workplace technologies.
- Certifications: ITIL 4 Foundation preferred; ISO 27001, Cybersecurity, or Cloud certifications advantageous.
- Ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence.
