About the role
- Produce in‑year and long-term (2–5 year) system roadmaps guiding technical upgrades, capacity planning, decommissioning and platform evolution.
- Participate in design reviews to ensure alignment with domain capabilities, technical strategy, system roadmaps, and architecture principles across the development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and challenge upstream requirements to achieve a balanced approach to functional and non‑functional needs, ensuring simplicity, performance and cost-effectiveness.
- Lead and assure all Low-Level Designs (LLDs) and key technical artefacts including migration designs, implementation approaches, test frameworks and operational handover documents.
- Maintain and monitor platform performance and capacity measures to ensure compliance with business SLAs and long-term technical alignment.
- Act as Technical Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for the domain, providing expertise across applications and infrastructure landscapes.
- Support major incidents, planned releases, and urgent patching needs in partnership with operations and supplier teams.
- Support the Domain Lead in evaluating supplier estimates, validating technical scope and ensuring alignment with agreed estimation models.
- Collaborate closely with delivery partners, product vendors, internal teams, and senior stakeholders to align technical roadmaps and influence product evolution.
- Coordinate with Programme and Project teams, Architecture groups, Operations, Testing, Technology partners and Supply Chain to deliver high-quality technical outcomes.
Requirements
- 12–15 years of experience as a Siebel or OSM Technical Architect within telecom or related industries.
- Strong awareness of telecom architecture, telecom processes and end‑to‑end OSS/BSS flows.
- Understanding of TM Forum (TMF) frameworks.
- Excellent capability in MS Excel, Power BI, MS Teams and strong presentation skills.
- Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and problem‑solving abilities.
- Familiarity with the SAFe framework, Agile methodologies and broad ADM concepts.
- Proven experience in producing system roadmaps, governing technical designs, and leading architectural initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to challenge constructively, think logically and deliver solutions collaboratively.
