About the role
- Develop and deliver robust, scalable, and integrated IT/IS solution architectures for complex enterprise products and customer solutions.
- Support Sell, Build, and Run (assurance/incident lifecycle) processes within the telecom domain, ensuring seamless end-to-end design.
- Create solution designs across enterprise product sets, including Fixed and Mobile Connectivity, Unified Communications, Cloud & Hosting, and Security.
- Apply TOGAF, TM Forum, and UML standards to ensure consistent, structured, and high-quality architecture documentation.
- Lead cross-domain architectural discussions, ensuring continuity and alignment across internal teams and external third parties.
- Engage stakeholders to ensure solution proposals meet business needs, strategic objectives, and technical feasibility.
- Manage third-party participation in defining solution designs, ensuring coherence and quality across all contributors.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels through clear documentation, presentations, and design walkthroughs.
- Anticipate design challenges, manage risks, and propose improvements that enhance service quality and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Educated to degree level or with equivalent technical experience (6–8+ years preferred).
- Demonstrated experience designing and delivering complex cross-domain IT/IS architectures within the telecommunications industry.
- Strong knowledge of telecom BSS processes such as Sell–Build–Run, Lead to Case (L2C), or Trouble to Resolve (T2R).
- Experience designing enterprise connectivity products such as IPVPN, SD-WAN, Ethernet, FTTP, and FTTC.
- Working knowledge of TOGAF, TM Forum Frameworks (Process, Application, Information), and UML modelling.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement with the ability to influence effectively, address objections, and guide technical decision-making.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Capable of collaborating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure holistic, end-to-end design outcomes.
- Proactive, analytical, and committed to improving design standards and service outcomes.
