Management of equipment and assets maintenance contracts and deliver performance on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, with minimum interruptions to Retail Site operations.
Develop the annual maintenance budget and plans in liaison with the Engineering Manager, including scoping and scheduling for major works.
Develop and maintain a strong HSSE culture within Contractors and compliance to Company HSSE standards.
Management of contractors to ensure delivery of agreed KPIs through structured monthly performance reviews and periodic performance audits, conducted in accordance with established contract management procedures.
Ensure timely compliance to statutory inspections and validation regulations.
Coordinate relocation of company equipment across the network both physical and in the asset register.
Support the procurement of maintenance services in liaison with the Contracts & Procurement function through the provision of scope and standards.
Provide support to growth and maintenance Capex projects.
Work closely with the customer service center and Territory Managers to enhance liaison and teamwork to deliver desired site maintenance levels.
Requirements
Minimum of a Bachelor of Engineering, preferably Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years’ experience in maintenance engineering in the oil & gas, manufacturing or mining industry.
Strong interpersonal skills, with personal initiative and drive.
Demonstrated knowledge of contractor management.
Sound knowledge of Health, Safety, Security, and Environment.
Registered Member of the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
