About the role

  • On-site Level III engine field service technician serving as primary customer support contact.
  • Diagnose and complete complex engine repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds at customer sites.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance per schedules and standards.
  • Escalate unresolved technical issues to product specialists or supervisors.
  • Coach and develop junior technicians/apprentices and review repair plans.
  • Complete required documentation including service worksheets, warranty claims, and quality records.
  • Identify and pursue additional sales and service opportunities.
  • Maintain service vehicle and tools, ensuring cleanliness and operational readiness.
  • Comply with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and report incidents.
  • Participate in required training for skill development and business requirements.

Requirements

  • Significant field service work experience.
  • Expert knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
  • Strong customer service background.
  • Experience providing technical advice and mentoring junior technicians (preferred).
  • Minimum 5–6 years relevant experience with strong technical expertise in engines and controllers.
  • Apprentice-trained Engine Technician (preferred).
  • Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution.
  • Valid local driving permit.
  • Compliance with licensing requirements related to export controls or sanctions, if applicable.
  • Diagnostic and troubleshooting skills using specialized tools and software.
  • Ability to use electronic diagnostic/service tools and interpret results.
  • Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engine systems interactions.
  • Service documentation and warranty claim processing skills.
  • Ability to maintain service vehicle and tools.
  • Commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies.
