Accountant

• Active involvement in day-to-day operational accounting activities
• Assists in the preparation of financial reports and analysis for internal and external use
• Prepares monthly and quarterly reconciliations
• Interprets financial transactions, resolves accounting discrepancies and identifies significant fluctuations
• Develops and implements processes with focus on automation, scalability, and efficiency to streamline accounting methods and increase productivity
• Serve as a finance partner to HR and work closely with our PEO- collaborating on payroll changes, benefits administration, PTO tracking, headcount planning, new hire setup, terminations, benefits reconciliation, and compensation reporting.
• Reconcile payroll liabilities including taxes, benefits, garnishments, and 401(k) contributions
• Takes an active role in month / quarter / year-end closing processes
• Collaborate with external auditors and tax professionals
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal controls
• Assist with the preparation of the annual budget and forecast
• Work with the finance leader on federal, state, and local tax filings and registrations in partnership with external tax advisors, keeping track of deadlines and filing status
• Assist with equity compensation accounting, including stock options and RSUs
• Surface issues, risks, and discrepancies proactively
• Performs special projects and studies on accounting and control matters as requested

• Manage new and ongoing therapy cases, ensuring accurate documentation and coordination with providers, pharmacies, and internal teams.
• Monitor therapy progress and prioritize member needs while handling inbound/outbound communication and casework.
• Resolve inquiries quickly and accurately, using critical thinking to address complex issues.
• Anticipate challenges and adapt to changing member needs.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with members, providers, and internal teams.
• Foster strong relationships and ensure satisfaction through professional, empathetic interactions.
