Provide proactive and responsive technical assistance to personnel on prevention planning, implementation, and evaluation
Design training and practical learning tools (e.g., workshops, capacity-building resources)
Develop, implement, and evaluate prevention policies and programs
Translate statistical or technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
Advise and train personnel on effective use of data, dashboards, and evaluation best practices to strengthen prevention efforts
Work independently, with some guidance, to ensure high fidelity of training and technical assistance activities with relevance to the military environment
Prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Provide clear verbal and written communications to a variety of stakeholders in alignment with DoD style expectations
Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
Doctoral degree in public health, prevention science, behavioral science, education, or related field
5+ years directly related experience (10+ years total work experience)
Experience designing and delivering large-scale technical assistance or training in prevention, public health, or related fields
Ability to critically think, examine complex issues, and identify gaps and possible solutions/improvements to problems
Experience using dashboards, metrics, or evaluation tools to support decision-making and capacity-building
Experience developing, implementing, and evaluating prevention policies and programs
Experience translating statistical or technical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical audiences
Ability to obtain a security clearance
