About the role
- Provide responsive, practical legal guidance to internal stakeholders
- Develop a strong understanding of Vistage's business model and risk tolerance
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements
- Assist with litigation and dispute management
- Support compliance with privacy and data protection laws
- Collaborate with outside counsel for legal support
- Contribute to continuous improvement of legal processes
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active member of the California Bar or registration as California In-House Counsel
- 1–5 years of experience practicing law
- Experience or exposure to commercial contracts, litigation management, corporate compliance, privacy laws, etc.
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office and legal-specific software
- Strong legal judgment and ability to assess risk
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
